Breast Augmentation Procedure in Miami
There are many reasons why women decide to get Miami breast implants. Women are sometimes unhappy with their natural size and would like bigger breasts. Sometimes there are cases where women are born with asymmetrical breasts or have had breast tissue removed because of cancer.
Patients undergoing Miami Breast Augmentation report feeling more confident, feminine, and looking better in their favorite outfits! Hundreds and thousands of women throughout the world also report feeling more self esteem and more attractive after getting Miami breast augmentation.
Am I a candidate for Miami Breast Augmentation?
Women of all types are suitable to have a Miami Breast Augmentation. Like in any surgical procedure, there are risks and certain medical conditions, which could make you not a candidate.
For example, people with existing immune disorders are not suitable candidates for Miami Breast Augmentation. People with cancer and people with body image disorders are also unsuitable breast augmentation candidates. Women who are being pressured to change their appearance or women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should also refrain from having the procedure done and should wait for a better time to have the breast augmentation done. In addition, teenagers should usually refrain from having the procedure done because the breast is still developing in the early 20’s. In cases where a teenager is having breast augmentation, saline implants are the recommended implant.
In your initial consultation with the surgeon, we will go over all details and risks. We will guide you towards your best option for looking better!
Will I have a scar?
Incisions for Miami breast augmentation are very small, and with proper post-operative care are virtually invisible. There are different methods to introduce the implant into breast, via the armpit, belly button, fold under breast or through the areola. Silicone implants cannot be introduced through the armpit or belly button, only saline implants.
What type of implant is best for me?
There are three factors to take into account when choosing which implant is best for you: Size, shape and fill material.
The decision on the size and shape of the implant can be difficult, that is why one of our experienced surgeons can help you decide which is your best option. Some implants are ideal for a more visual cleavage line, while implants like a teardrop type appear more realistic.
For the fill material, the two types are silicone and saline. Some patients report silicone feeling more real. Silicone implants usually require a slightly larger incision because they must be filled before the breast enlargement. Miami saline implants require a very small incision, through where the unfilled implant is introduced. The saline implant is then filled to the desired size once inside.
At our office we only use the highest quality implants available, with quality guarantee and FDA approved for surgery. The implants we use are considered the Gold Standard for Miami breast augmentation. Mentor and Allergan are the only two companies providing our implants for Miami Breast Augmentation.
